St. Mary Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

 “We believe God and the child have a unique relationship with one another.
   Children need their own place to foster the growth of that relationship.
   The growth of this relationship is assisted by the adult,
but is directed by the Spirit of God within the child.”


 We welcome you to join us on our faith journey this year at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
We offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd to lay the foundation of your child’s Catholic faith and Sacramental Preparation for 1st Communion and Confirmation. 

We offer the following sessions for 2026-2027:
Level One (3-5years) Tuesdays from 3:30-4:45pm
Level Two (6-9years) & Level Three (9-12+ yrs) Mondays from 3:30-5:00pm
     
Sacramental Preparation
1st Communion: In addition to weekly Atrium time, 
there will be extra sessions and a winter retreat
Confirmation: Weekly sessions will be held Sunday mornings at 8:30am at the parish center

 All sessions begin the week of Sunday September 13th (Level I and II begin on the 14th and 15th).

Please bring your registration payment to your child’s first CGS Session.
